Hey SASE!

We hope everyone did well on their midterms and is hanging in there! Come join us at our Third General Meeting to socialize and relax from our very stressful academic lives! We will be playing fun games to socialize and get to know each other as well as hear from BASF company representatives to learn and connect for potential career opportunities! Food will be provided to attendees and we will be hosting our first fully in-person SASE event! Hope to see you there!!!

The UH chapter of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) aims to help Asian heritage scientists and engineers reach their full potential, both personally and professionally. We promote diversity on campus and in the workplace, developing our members of all ethnic backgrounds to become leaders of the future workforce. We host information sessions, professional development workshops, and social events to engage our members with constructive and entertaining activities outside their schoolwork.

The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) is a national non-profit organization that promotes active involvement of scientists and engineers in their careers. Rather than simply working and getting by, we encourage our members to actively seek out challenges to get themselves noticed and become the leaders of their industry. We are trying to develop leaders by providing our members with the chance to network with their peers and professionals from industry who can give them career and personal advice.

Since UH-SASE was established at the University of Houston in late 2010, we have held general meetings, company information sessions, professional development workshops, socials, and community outreach programs. Our programs are fashioned so that our members can learn while enjoying themselves.
